Rife Pasture/Nose pumps works on the principle of cognitive learning. For the first time submerge the foot valve in your water source so that its weighed down. You may place the foot valve at any angle as its spring loaded. Work the pump until the water is bought up in the drinking bowl. The water in the bowl will attract the animal to come and drink. Once they are done, the last back stroke of the pump will bring more water. This will remain in the bowl to attract other animals or the same animal for the next time.
